Alaska Railroad: Anchorage to Whittier/Grandview
Where: Anchorage, Alaska to Whittier. (Whittier is
a coast port 1 hour drive south of Anchorage AK).
Type: Regular Passenger Service (Thu-Sun)
Equipment: One of the RDC-2s #711 & #712, often supplimented
by coaches and a HEP-equiped locomotive.

Amtrak/Portland & Western: The Lewis and Clark Explorer
Status:This service has now ended. The three RDC units have
been purchased for the Eagle Cap Wilderness Train, and run on the 60
mile line between Elgin and Joseph, OR. This is the scenic ex Union
Pacific Joseph branch, and features lovely scenic riverside operation.
The route is to be operated by the Wallowa Union Railroad.
